These premium beeswax candles by Alternative Imagination are meticulously handcrafted in small batches to ensure the highest quality. Proudly working with ethical bee farms, we use only pure, natural beeswax from local sources, filtered through a chemical-free system that preserves the beeswax's naturally sweet, honey-like aroma and beautiful yellow coloring.
The yummy-smelling beeswax is then expertly melted and hand-poured into candles by our skilled artisans. We use flat, natural cotton wicks with a paper thread for structure, ensuring a toxin-free, clean-burning experience. These beeswax candles emit little to no soot and help regulate the quality of the air you breathe, as beeswax is the only natural substance that emits negative ions when burned, drawing out toxins, dust, pollen, mold, and mildew.
The color and aroma of our candles can naturally vary, as it all depends on the flowers from which the bees harvest their pollen. The diameter and height of the candles may be slightly smaller than the size listed due to the natural cooling process, where the wax pulls away from the mold, creating a scuff-free candle.
To ensure an even burn, we recommend trimming the wick to 1/4 inch and allowing the candle to burn for at least 2.5 hours. After extinguishing the flame, you may need to "hug" the edges of the candle to create a flatter surface as the wax cools.
Our beeswax candles are approximately 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide, with a burn time of about 40 hours. They are perfect for creating a cozy ambiance in any space, whether for everyday use, power outages, gifts, or rituals and prayer.
